  BAD NEWS! I went back and forth with office visits and phone calls for 3 weeks with Dr. Laura who diagnosed my older cat with a upper respiratory infection. I went here originally because weekends and nights my vet was closed. My cat was hydrated 4 times, given antibiotics and a steroid shot. We were advised to try enticing her to eat by offering different foods and to heat them up for a stronger aroma but she was not improving. We asked to have blood work and xrays done a couple of times but were told it was not necessary for a upper respiratory infection. She kept saying that since my cat was older it would take longer for her to get better and the cat might be giving up. On our 4th visit she finally did bloodwork and it showed that the white blood cell count was extremely high and once again she said it was most likely because of the infection or possible inflammation and sent us home with more antibiotics. Why the heck didn't she suggest an xray or further diagnostics when the white blood cell count is so high (almost off the charts)? Called again during the week and they said maybe she needed to be hydrated again. I took my cat to our regular vet. They had all the reports from Dr. Laura. The first thing my vet suggested was a simple xray since the white blood cell count was so high. The xray showed a large tumor in the lungs and a mass in the intestines. My vet was shocked that for a cat being sick this long and with very abnormal blood results that Jersey Shore did nothing more. A day later I put my sweet cat to rest because she got so much worse. Jersey Shore was negligent and just chalked her illness up to an infection that she couldn't get over due to old age. If an xray was done when we originally asked and the tumors were discovered I could have saved putting my cat through the stress of going back and forth to this facility to be poked at after waiting a long time in the lobby even when there were no other animals there at times. She and her tech, Tony did more talking then anything else. I had an extremely sick cat with a very serious condition and they did nothing to try to find out why she was not getting better. They should be ashamed of themselves. I despise this place and will tell anyone with pets to stay away. If they read this review and try to cover up their neglect it won't matter because I know the truth.
